So yeah, it’s 12 a.m here in Mexico, which means that it’s April 6th.
Yesterday, April 5th was a very special day. Kurt Cobain killed himself with a shotgun on April 5th, 1994. Even though I was born 2 years after his death, he is one of my greatest idols. His music marked a generation and a big part of my heart. The saddest thing is that he killed himself on my mom’s birthday. She was a super obsessed fan, she had every album and her wall was full of posters of Nirvana. She was only 14 and she was watching mtv when she saw the news. She bought every magazine of him. I’m thankful because she taught me about good music, including Nirvana and other grunge bands.
Rest In Peace, you beautiful and talented man. You were a true musician, and that’s what we need nowadays. We only have a few talented men.
